Crochet 101: Granny Square Bag Part 2
Crochet 101: Granny Square Bag Part 2 is a hands-on workshop about turning individual granny squares into a practical tote bag. The session begins with a review of the first class and time for questions, then moves into techniques for assembling the squares. Participants can join even if they do not have enough completed squares to make a full bag.
When: Sunday, September 6, 2026
Showtimes: 11:00 AM–12:30 PM
Run time: 1 hour and 30 minutes
Tickets: Pay what you like; $20 is the recommended contribution
Venue: Rhizome DC
Materials: Crochet hooks and yarn will be provided. Participants should bring completed granny squares if they have them; a full bag requires 13 granny squares of any size.
Workshop note: Finished granny squares are not provided, but attendees can still learn and practice the assembly process without enough squares to complete a bag.
