Joe Brotherton

Trumpeter Joe Brotherton brings his jazz trio to St. Vincent Wine on Thursday, September 3, 2026, as part of the DC Jazz Festival. Brotherton, a Nashville-born musician now established on the DC jazz scene, is known for his energetic post-bop playing and previously performed as a member of the U.S. Marine Corps Band at Quantico. His recorded work includes "Here to Hear" and "The Joe Brotherton Quartet Live at the Hemingway Room," and this evening he appears in a trio format for two live sets.
