An Evening with Shenandoah Run - Folk Music With a Kick

An Evening with Shenandoah Run brings the nine-member folk band to Jammin’ Java for an evening of favorite folk songs with the group’s distinctive, energetic sound. Founded by Bob Melissinos, Shenandoah Run grew from his goal of assembling a band that could perform songs he loved, including “Today” by Randy Sparks.

The band formed in 2011 and continues to perform throughout the DC, Maryland, and Virginia region. Shenandoah Run is also preparing to record its third CD. While the group works to preserve its established sound, each member contributes individual musical talents to the band’s live performances.
