Hyattsville Figure Drawing Group Meetup

The Hyattsville Figure Drawing Group hosts weekly drop-in figure drawing sessions on Tuesday evenings at Pyramid Atlantic Art Center. This session, taking place on Tuesday June 30, 2026, from 6:00 to 9:00 pm, features a live nude model for a long pose drawing format. The session begins with several short warm-up poses before settling into a single sustained pose for the remainder of the evening. All skill levels are welcome, no registration is required, and participants must bring their own art supplies; drawing boards and chairs are provided. To protect model privacy, photography is not permitted, and the model may be masked.

When: Tuesday, June 30, 2026, 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. This is a regular weekly Tuesday session; the group also meets on 3rd Saturdays, 2:00-5:00 pm, for clothed/costumed model sessions with short poses (all ages).

Where: Pyramid Atlantic Art Center, 4318 Gallatin Street, Hyattsville, MD 20781.

What: Sharpen your drawing skills in a relaxed, informal setting at Hyattsville Figure Drawing Group’s drop-in drawing sessions. No registration is required; all skill levels are welcome.

Cost: $20 per session, or $75 for a 5-session punch card, or $15 per session for Pyramid Atlantic members. Membership information is available on the Pyramid Atlantic website.

Ages: 18+ only for Tuesday sessions due to the nude model.

Note: To protect the privacy of models, no photography is permitted. Free parking is available after 6:00 pm in the rear of the building.
