Clue Christmas
Clue Christmas brings Die Laughing Productions’ holiday-themed interactive murder mystery to the main room at DC Improv. The premise turns a neighborhood Christmas party into a whodunit: Santa Claus is in attendance, but so is a killer, and the culprit could be a cast member or even an audience member. Volunteer roles are available for those who want to participate onstage, and everyone in the audience gets a chance to solve the Clue-inspired mystery.
The show is created and performed by Die Laughing Productions, a murder mystery comedy company made up of professional stand-up comedians. Their productions are about one-third scripted, one-third improvised, and one-third audience participation. The company was founded by comedians and radio personalities Rob Maher and Joe Robinson, each with more than 15 years of professional comedy experience. Maher was a finalist in Comedy Central’s Up Next competition and has performed for U.S. troops in 14 countries, while Robinson previously hosted 98 Rock’s Irresponsible Radio. Both are regular contributors to the 98 Rock morning show, feature at Improv and Funny Bone comedy clubs nationwide, co-host the Baltimore Ravens postgame show during football season, and produce the Rob and Joe Show podcast.
