Swamp Grass

Swamp Grass is a Washington, D.C., bluegrass band formed through weekly jam sessions on Capitol Hill. The group combines traditional bluegrass standards with contemporary arrangements and catchy original songs, while leaving room for extended improvisation and spontaneous musical detours. Their informal, energetic performances bring Appalachian hillbilly character and a relaxed, celebratory atmosphere to local breweries and roadhouses.
