William Basinski

William Basinski is an experimental composer, sound sculptor, and video artist based in Los Angeles. Presented by Murmrr, this performance brings his emotionally rich, texture-focused electronic work to Berhta Club.

Basinski is known for exploring analog technology and its ability to transform and degrade sound. His best-known works include *The Disintegration Loops* and *Lamentations*. His work has been presented internationally at venues and institutions including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Venice Biennale, and London’s Union Chapel.
