Freddie: A Girl

Taffety Punk Theatre Company presents *Freddie: A Girl*, a world-prem premiere play by company member Kelsey Mesa. Set during the Nazi occupation of the Netherlands, the drama follows sisters Truus and Freddie Oversteegen, who joined the Dutch Resistance as teenagers—at ages 17 and 15—and went on to serve as spies, saboteurs, and assassins. Their extraordinary courage in the face of overwhelming danger is at the center of the play.

The production is directed by Lisa Bruneau and presented by Taffety Punk, the resident company at Capitol Hill Arts Workshop.
