Native Arts Collaborative
Minnesota-based Native Arts Collaborative brings a vibrant showcase of indigenous arts to Wolf Trap’s Children’s Theatre-in-the-Woods. Dancers in traditional regalia—adorned with ribbons, feathers, and beads—present a high-energy educational performance that blends contemporary and historical Native American dance. The show illuminates indigenous ceremonies, history, and movement, offering an engaging cultural experience for families.
When: Thursday, August 6, 2026. Gates open at 10:00 AM; the performance begins at 10:30 AM.

Tickets: $12 per person (includes all fees). Children under 2 years old are admitted free. Discounts available for groups of 10 or more (inquire for details). The Pick 3 and Save offer gives $2 off every ticket when buying tickets to 3 or more Children’s Theatre-in-the-Woods shows.

Venue: Children’s Theatre-in-the-Woods, located at 1551 Trap Road, Vienna, VA 22182, inside Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts. Seating is general admission on wooden benches (first come, first served). A short scenic walk (less than half a mile downhill, across a bridge, and along a wooded trail) from the parking area leads to the theater; a stroller is recommended for young children. Free parking is available, with park rangers directing you to the lot.

Note: Food and beverages other than water are not allowed in the seated area. Picnics can be enjoyed in the Meadow after the show. A Junior Ranger Badge program and free outdoor games and activities (Stay & Play) are offered after the performance.
