Alfredo Mojica Group

Alfredo Mojica Group brings a lively salsa-focused performance to Bossa Bistro & Lounge. Alfredo Mojica, a prominent figure in Washington’s salsa scene, is a Central American-born percussionist and vocalist whose career has included performances with artists and groups such as Celia Cruz, Eddie Palmieri, Willie Colón, Dizzy Gillespie, Buddy Rich, El Gran Combo, and Ray Barretto.

Mojica moves between timbales, congas, and bongos while singing salsa standards in an expressive style. He is joined by a rotating group of accomplished musicians for an energetic evening of salsa, bachata, merengue, and other dance music.
