Bethesda's Winter Wonderland
Bethesda’s Winter Wonderland is a free downtown holiday celebration presented by the Bethesda Urban Partnership. The afternoon features live ice sculpting, a visit with Santa Claus, music and student performances, children’s activities, face painting, games, food from local restaurants, and a Holiday Market with 50 artisans. Visitors are also encouraged to bring a new toy for Toys for Tots to help spread holiday cheer.
Activities include arts and crafts with Bach to Rock, Encrypted Escape, Imagination Stage, Kidcreate Studio, Round House Theatre, and Village Edu. The participating student performers are Academy of the Holy Cross, Bethesda Elementary, Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School, Chevy Chase Elementary, Georgetown Preparatory School, Our Lady of Lourdes, Stone Ridge, Strathmore Youth Chorus, Walter Johnson, and Young Artists of America.

Showtimes: 12:00–4:00 p.m. School performances begin at 1:45 p.m.; Santa Claus visits at 2:00 p.m.

Market: Holiday Market by URBN Market, featuring 50 artisans.
Food: Bethesda restaurants Cubano’s, Olazzo, and The Red Bandana Bakery.
