On Thursday, July 9, 2026, Rhizome DC hosts a political forum and fundraiser in solidarity with Venezuelan communities affected by devastating earthquakes that struck on June 24. Organizers from the Party for Socialism and Liberation will lead a discussion on the current situation, the ongoing impacts of U.S. sanctions, and the grassroots relief efforts already underway. All proceeds from the event go directly to community-led earthquake relief organizations providing aid on the ground in Venezuela.
