Afro-Cuban All Stars

Afro-Cuban All Stars is a Grammy-nominated, multigenerational orchestra dedicated to the breadth of Cuban music. Led by bandleader and producer Juan de Marcos González, a prominent figure in the Buena Vista Social Club project, the ensemble brings together musicians from different styles and eras. Their performances celebrate Cuba’s musical heritage, combining traditional forms with Afro-Cuban rhythms, Latin jazz, and energetic dance music.

The program is part of Strathmore’s Windows series and includes a pre-concert ¡Baila Cuba! program featuring Cuban music, dance, and community activities.
