Instagram Growth Workshop w/Sam Shelton

Instagram Growth Workshop with Sam Shelton is a practical session on using Instagram and related Meta platforms to promote a business or creative practice. Shelton, a Torpedo Factory Art Center resident artist, has built a combined following of more than 50,000 across Instagram, Facebook, and Threads over the past three years. She is also part of Instagram’s creator network and has been invited to participate in its bonus program.

The workshop covers account types, post formats, captions and hashtags, strategies for increasing followers and engagement, collaborations with the Arts Club of Washington and other artists or organizations, direct-message marketing, monetization, and individualized recommendations based on a review of each attendee’s Instagram account. The session also includes a take-home handout and time for questions and answers.
