Lalah Hathaway, a five-time Grammy winner and acclaimed singer, songwriter, and producer, performs at the Birchmere. Known for her soulful vocals and wide-ranging musical style, Hathaway brings songs from her celebrated solo career and collaborations with artists including Pharrell Williams, Kendrick Lamar, Dr. Dre, Anderson .Paak, Robert Glasper, Rapsody, Snoop Dogg, and Esperanza Spalding. Her latest releases, the Grammy-nominated albums *VANTABLACK* and *VANTABLACK: EXPANSION PACK*, are featured in the event’s profile, along with her 2025 song “UPTOWN,” which earned another Grammy nomination.

The daughter of the late Donny Hathaway, Lalah Hathaway was raised in Chicago and has also shared stages with Prince, Stevie Wonder, and Herbie Hancock. She is tied with Beyoncé for the most wins in the Grammy category of Best Traditional R&B Performance, with three awards each.
