Icons & Flow: PRIDE Celebration
The LINE DC hosts a PRIDE Celebration on the rooftop to mark the opening of Icons & Flow, an exhibition presented in partnership with Transformer DC. The exhibition features two photographic series by Rachel A. Sale: Icons, created with creative director John Coplen, reimagines culturally iconic images through gender reversal as an act of disruption rather than imitation. Flow, a series by Sale, centers on women who embody resilience as a daily, lived practice, using the language of yoga to express strength, vulnerability, and presence; the work was originally shared during the Women’s March in Washington, DC, and sits at the intersection of personal ritual and collective empowerment. The exhibition itself is on view in the G Level Lobby of the hotel, while the opening celebration takes place on the rooftop with lite bites, wine, and a cash bar. The event is free, but RSVP is required.
