Sunset Parades
The Sunset Parades at the U.S. Marine Corps War Memorial are a time-honored summertime tradition hosted by the United States Marine Corps. Each Tuesday evening from June through early August, the Marine Drum & Bugle Corps and the Silent Drill Platoon perform a ceremonial display of military precision, discipline, and pageantry against the iconic backdrop of the memorial overlooking Washington, D.C. The 45-minute program includes musical performances and a silent drill routine that showcases the Corps' renowned skills. Admission is free and no reservations are needed, making it a popular family-friendly evening outing.
When: Every Tuesday from June 9, 2026 through August 11, 2026; note there is no parade on Tuesday, July 7, 2026.
Showtimes: The military parade begins at 7:00 PM.
Tickets: Free; no advance reservations or tickets required.
