Fall Chamber Music Showcase

The Fall Chamber Music Showcase is a semesterly concert series presented by the UMD School of Music, showcasing student chamber ensembles in the intimate setting of a concert hall. These recitals are designed to highlight the creativity, initiative, collaboration, and agency of student musicians, and they feature a broad range of repertoire and styles presented in a fresh, lively way. The series includes four performances spread across November 2026, all held in Dekelboum Concert Hall at The Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center, and all are free and open to the public with no tickets required.

The performances are general admission, and the venue offers a variety of accessibility services for guests who request them, including wheelchair-accessible and size-inclusive seating, large-print programs, assisted listening devices, sensory packs, and quiet spaces. ASL interpretation, audio description, and captioning are also available for select events or by patron request made at least six weeks in advance.
