Visionaries of the Creative Arts: Deaf BIPOC Solo Shows III

Visionaries of the Creative Arts: Deaf BIPOC Solo Shows III presents three solo performances by Deaf and Hard of Hearing BIPOC artists, each sharing distinct intersectional life experiences. The performances are designed for Deaf, hard-of-hearing, and hearing audiences, combining American Sign Language with spoken English.

A different work is presented each night: Treshelle Edmond’s *Light Up Within* on October 29, Fred M. Beam’s *Black Deaf Male: Who Am I?* on October 30, and Rosa Lee Timm’s *Wonder* on October 31.

Tickets: Two-show admission is $45 before fees with discount code 2SHOWS. Admission to all three shows is $70 before fees with discount code 3SHOWS.

Language and accessibility: Performances are presented in American Sign Language and spoken English for Deaf, hard-of-hearing, and hearing audiences.

Run time: Approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes per performance

Ages: 13 and older

Content advisory: The performances include mild flashing and strobe lighting, loud music, and occasional sudden sound effects. They also contain references to self-harm, sexual content, sexual assault, and drug use, along with recurring themes and depictions of grief.
