Freddie: A Girl
Taffety Punk presents *Freddie: A Girl*, a world-premiere play by company member Kelsey Mesa, directed by Lisa Bruneau. Set during the Nazi occupation of the Netherlands, the play follows sisters Truus and Freddie Oversteegen, who joined the Dutch Resistance as teenagers and went on to serve as spies, saboteurs, and assassins.
The production explores a young girl’s fight against tyranny, the extraordinary bravery required to resist impossible odds, and the lasting scars that war leaves behind.
