The workshop is for beginners and no prior experience is required; a materials fee covers consumable supplies, and students are expected to bring additional personal items such as acrylic paints, scissors, an X-Acto knife, glue, and optional found papers.

When: Sunday, June 21 and Sunday, June 28, 2026.
Showtimes: 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm each session.
Tickets: $226.00 per person. Registration closes June 14, 2026. A $16 materials fee is included with registration to cover consumables provided in class.
Lineup: Instructor Sharon Robinson, a mixed-media and collage artist based in the Washington, D.C. area. She holds a master’s degree from MIT, worked in urban transit and development for 20 years, and has been a full-time artist since 1999. She has exhibited extensively on both coasts, taught at the Smithsonian and other venues, and serves on the boards of Pyramid Atlantic, the Mt. Rainier Arts Commission, and SCRAP-USA.
Run time: Two 4‑hour sessions, total 8 hours of instruction.
Ages: Not specified, but the workshop is labeled “Level: Beginner – no experience necessary” and is likely suitable for adults and older teens.
