The Avett Brothers
The Avett Brothers return to Wolf Trap’s Filene Center for two evenings of folk-inflected Americana, blending bluegrass, rock, and folk with energetic performances and heartfelt lyrics. Guster opens both shows, performing songs from its latest album, *Ooh La Luxe*, along with other material.
When: Friday, September 18, and Saturday, September 19, 2026
Showtimes: Both performances begin at 7:30 PM. Gates open at 6 PM.

Availability: The September 19 performance is sold out. Tickets are available through the event page for September 18.
Parking: Free parking is included with the ticket experience, although parking is limited and carpooling is encouraged. Park rangers direct visitors to ADA parking upon arrival.
Transportation: The Wolf Trap shuttle runs from McLean Metro station for $5 round trip.
Food and drinks: Guests may bring their own food and drinks, including alcohol, for picnicking in the park or on the Filene Center lawn. Visitors with in-house seats may not bring food to their seats, and reusable spill-safe Wolf Trap cups are available from concessions for drinks. Chairs are permitted only at the top of the lawn.
Dining: Guests can picnic before the show, reserve an al fresco buffet at the on-site Ovations Restaurant, or purchase meals, snacks, soft drinks, and cocktails at the Plaza Concessions and Meadow Commons Concessions windows.
Accessibility: Sign language interpretation is available by request with at least one week’s advance notice. CART services require a request at least three weeks before the performance. FM Loop amplification headsets are available at no charge for most performances; guests can ask an usher for assistance.
Hotel offer: Hilton McLean offers discounted rooms for attendees, lounge drink specials, and shuttle service to and from the performance for an additional fee. The shuttle requires a separate booking, the offer ends September 11, 2026, and performance tickets are not included.
