Paws and Kinship is a long-term art exhibit hosted at VCA Old Town Animal Hospital in Alexandria, Virginia, presented by Del Ray Artisans as part of their Gallery Without Walls program. The exhibit features two-dimensional artwork from Del Ray Artisans members, all exploring the emotional bond between humans and animals. Running from June 8, 2026 through May 29, 2027, the display fills the hospital’s lobby and hallway, inviting visitors to celebrate the creatures that share their lives through a diverse collection of member-created pieces. A sample work on view is “Opal” by Rod Whyte.

Hours: The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 7:00 pm, and Saturday from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. Visitors should check in at the front desk upon arrival and let staff know they are there to view the art exhibit.

Parking: A parking lot is available behind VCA Old Town, accessible from Princess Street.

Access: Due to client needs, some areas of the hospital may not be available for immediate viewing; the front desk will direct visitors to accessible portions of the exhibit.

Admission: No price is listed; admission is likely free as part of the hospital’s public space.
