David Cross brings more than four decades of stand-up experience to the Birchmere for an evening of inventive, fearless comedy. The Emmy Award-winning comedian, actor, writer, and producer is best known as the co-creator and star of *Mr. Show with Bob and David* and for playing Tobias Fünke on *Arrested Development*. He was also part of *The Ben Stiller Show*, earning an Emmy for writing early in his career.

Cross has released acclaimed specials and albums including *Making America Great Again!*, *Oh Come On*, *I’m From The Future*, and *The Pride Is Back*, which *Rolling Stone* named among the 25 most important stand-up specials of all time. His latest special, *The End Of The Beginning Of The End*, was filmed at Athens, Georgia’s 40 Watt Club and explores New York life, unconventional history, an absurd massage encounter, and contemporary struggles of being a woman. His extensive screen credits include *Station Eleven*, *The Umbrella Academy*, *Genius: Aretha*, *Goliath*, *Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind*, *Ghost World*, *Sorry to Bother You*, *The Post*, and *Oh, Hi!*, along with voice roles in the *Kung Fu Panda* films, *Megamind*, *Next Gen*, and *Curious George*.
