Creative Careers Mix & Mingle

Creative Careers Mix & Mingle is an informal networking event for students and others interested in creative-industry careers. Attendees can meet employers and working professionals, explore career paths, and begin relationships that may lead to internships, jobs, mentorships, freelance work, and other opportunities.

The event is designed for genuine conversation rather than formal booths, long lines, or rehearsed elevator pitches. Participants do not need a finished résumé, a clear career plan, or an outgoing personality; they are encouraged to bring curiosity, a few questions, and a willingness to meet someone new. The event also provides an opportunity to practice professional conversations and build connections beyond the classroom.

Venue: Center for the Arts Grand Tier III, George Mason University Center for the Arts

Activities: Meet creative employers and industry professionals, learn about creative career options, practice networking conversations, and discover internships, jobs, freelance opportunities, mentorships, and other ways to connect.

Registration: Registration is required.
