I'll meet youthere
Hamiltonian Artists and The Nicholson Project present *I’ll meet you there*, a sweeping six-month city-wide exhibition of contemporary video works by Stephanie J. Williams, Jermaine “jET” Carter, Edgar Reyes, and A.J. McClenon. Running from March 16 through August 15, 2026, the exhibition takes its title from a Rumi poem and explores themes of embodiment, identity, migration, memory, and collective care—examining how bodies move through public and private landscapes, how histories linger in neighborhoods, and how personal narratives shape shared space. The project bridges Hamiltonian Artists’ U Street NW gallery with The Nicholson Project’s campus in Southeast DC, while also activating Washington’s roadways via a custom LED billboard media truck that traverses all four quadrants on select Saturdays and Wednesdays throughout the run. At paused locations chosen by the artists, and in partnership with DC Public Libraries and neighborhood organizations, the truck stops for screenings and public conversations, bringing video art directly into communities.
