EUGE GROOVE

Chart-topping saxophonist Euge Groove brings his contemporary jazz to The Birchmere for a performance featuring selections from his album *The Phoenix*. The recording explores resilience, joy, peace, balance, and spiritual growth, while reflecting Groove’s renewed approach to music and life.

*The Phoenix* follows his 2023 album *Comfort Zone* and was shaped in part by his recovery from life-saving open-heart surgery. Groove describes the album as a more relaxed, peaceful, and joyful project inspired by his desire to reconnect with the reasons he began making music. His career includes collaborations with Tina Turner, Tower of Power, The Eurythmics, Aaron Neville, Huey Lewis, and Joe Cocker. The album is scheduled for release on July 17, 2026.
