Stand-Up Showcase
The DC Improv presents the Stand-Up Showcase, a rotating lineup of four top stand-up comedians performing in the lounge on the venue's most famous stage. The showcase runs from July 9 to July 12, 2026, and offers a variety of comedic styles from local and national talent. Each show typically lasts around 90 minutes, providing an intimate and up-close comedy experience in downtown Washington, DC.
When: Thursday, July 9 at 7:30 p.m.; Friday, July 10 at 7:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.; Saturday, July 11 at 6:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.; Sunday, July 12 at 6:00 p.m.
Tickets: The all-in price (including service charges) is $26.50. The DC Improv does not sell tickets through any website other than dcimprov.com; third-party tickets are not accepted.

Note: Stacey Axler has been performing since 2021 and has appeared at the North Carolina Comedy Festival, Solocom in NYC, and the Sixth City Comedy Festival. Lafayette Wright has nearly a decade of experience on the DC comedy scene, was featured on Kevin Hart's "Hart of the City" on Comedy Central, and has over 4 million views on a Don't Tell Comedy set; he has also won multiple Comedy Kumite tournaments at the DC Improv. Blake Freeman is an Australian comedian who won Best Newcomer at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, was selected for Just For Laughs: New Faces International, and has opened for Nate Bargatze on his Australian tour. Ty Davis is a stand-up, writer, and voice-over artist from North Carolina who resides in Baltimore, has been featured on season three of "Hart of the City" on Comedy Central, won the Comedy Wings competition at the American Black Film Festival, and hosts the podcast "Lost & Found."
