Monday, July 13, 2026, Rhizome DC presents a triple bill of experimental sound artists and ambient noise practitioners. The evening features Providence-based sound artist Mark Moreno (performing as Murena), who creates site-specific field-recording compositions that transport listeners to the locations of his walks; the intimate and lonely ambient noise project Thumbsucker26; and Guillermo Pizarro, who blends field recordings, tapes, harsh noise, synths, and ambient textures into cinematic storytelling and also runs the label Flag Day Recordings. The show runs from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with tickets priced on a sliding scale of $10–20.

Guillermo Pizarro also runs Flag Day Recordings, a US label focusing on experimental music, harsh noise, ambient, and soundtracks. Since 2024, Flag Day has added a production branch, Vitória Régia Studios, offering mastering, mixing, and film scoring services.
