UMD Summer Chorus Concert

The University of Maryland Summer Chorus, a campus and community ensemble open to any singer who wishes to participate, presents its annual concert on Saturday, July 25, 2026. This year’s program, titled “America 250: The Promise of Living,” features works by prominent American composers in celebration of the nation’s upcoming semiquincentennial. The concert includes Leonard Bernstein’s *Chichester Psalms*, Moses Hogan’s *His Light Still Shines*, and Aaron Copland’s *The Promise of Living*. The chorus is directed by Eric Beomjin Kim and Julie Huang Tucker. The performance takes place in the Dekelboum Concert Hall at the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center and is free of charge, requiring no tickets.
