Sixth & I Queer Collective

The Sixth & I Queer Collective is an inclusive gathering at Sixth & I Historic Synagogue designed for LGBTQIA+ individuals who want to explore Jewish texts and ideas in a supportive environment. The evening centers on studying Torah and having open conversations about how Judaism and queerness intersect, while also creating space for people to connect with one another and build meaningful community. Organizers emphasize that the space is welcoming to all, and that financial barriers will not prevent anyone from participating.

The event takes place on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at 7:00 pm Eastern Time at Sixth & I Historic Synagogue. Advance registration is required and is completed online, with additional fees applied at checkout. The standard admission price is $12, but anyone who cannot afford the fee is encouraged to reach out, as no one will be turned away due to lack of funds.
