A Forest Meadow
A Forest Meadow is a November 2026 group exhibition at Artists & Makers Studios featuring traditional woodturning by the Montgomery County Woodturners alongside quilting by the Friendship Star Quilters. The two art forms explore the life and visual richness of a woodland meadow: fallen trees create openings where flowers and smaller plants emerge, while also providing the wood used by the woodturners. The exhibition emphasizes the creativity and community-building role of local craft associations.
The gallery program also includes a woodturning demonstration, giving visitors an opportunity to learn more about the techniques behind the exhibition’s sculptural work.
