Maeve Dunigan, a comedy writer and comedian, appears for an author reading followed by a moderated conversation. The event highlights her debut essay collection, *Read This To Look Cool*, which is available from booksellers, as well as her contributions to *The New Yorker*, *McSweeney’s Internet Tendency*, *Reductress*, and NPR’s *Selected Shorts*.

The program is part of NextNOW Fest, the University of Maryland’s annual multi-day festival of performances and other arts experiences featuring artists from across the country and the campus community. The festival is open to the general public and is presented as part of UMD’s Arts for All initiative, with additional support from Terps After Dark, UMD Student Entertainment Events, and the Maryland State Arts Council.
