Francis of Delirium
Francis of Delirium performs with Night Hawk at Pearl Street Warehouse. Led by Luxembourg-based singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-disciplinary artist Jana Bahrich, Francis of Delirium blends ’90s U.S. college rock with the expansive influence of Sufjan Stevens. The project is known for emotionally direct songwriting, forceful guitars, surging drums, and dynamic shifts into gentler passages and layered harmonies.
Bahrich was born in Belgium and later lived in Switzerland and Canada before settling in Luxembourg. Her early interest in visual art and guitar developed into a highly independent creative practice encompassing writing, production, directing, and design. After meeting American drummer and producer Chris Hewett, she formed Francis of Delirium. The project released its first single, “Quit Fucking Around,” in 2020, followed by the EPs *All Change* (2020), *Wading* (2021), and *The Funhouse* (2022), and the debut album *Lighthouse* (2024). The debut single remains a prominent part of the live repertoire.
