Ward Hayden & the Outliers

Ward Hayden & the Outliers bring a country-infused roots sound to Hank Dietle’s Tavern in support of *Little by Little*, their album inspired by Bruce Springsteen. The band reworks 16 Springsteen songs, including both well-known classics and deeper cuts, with a style shaped by heartfelt storytelling, strong musicianship, and Ward Hayden’s soulful vocals.

The project grew from an impromptu response to negativity into a larger creative undertaking. Recorded in Massachusetts between tours, *Little by Little* explores resilience, hometown connections, and shared American experiences through the band’s distinctive roots-music approach. Hayden, formerly of Girls Guns & Glory, leads the group in performance.
