Sarau de Samba: Brazilian Samba Roots Experience

Sarau de Samba is EducArte’s monthly celebration of Afro-Brazilian culture, bringing the Rio de Janeiro tradition of samba to Glen Echo Park. Led by Brazilian performers Pablo Regis, André Coelho, and Mariana Triginelli, the event combines live music, dance, and community participation in an energetic, welcoming setting.

The program features samba styles ranging from Golden Age classics and choro to modern pagode and carnival rhythms. Guests are invited to dance, sing, and even play instruments alongside the professional musicians and dancers.
