Kennedy Center Opera House Orchestra
Members of the Kennedy Center Opera House Orchestra leave the orchestra pit for a chamber performance on the Millennium Stage at the REACH. Each musician contributes a solo part, while the ensemble’s changing combinations create a wide range of instrumental colors, textures, and moods.
The program spans percussion, horns, trombone, harp, and strings. Repertoire includes works by Bob Becker, J. S. Bach, Anton Reicha, Giuseppe Verdi, Giacomo Puccini, Astor Piazzolla, and Dmitri Shostakovich.

Lineup: Greg Akagi and John Spirtas perform percussion; Christy Klenke, Wei-Ping Chou, and Peter de Boor perform horns; Andrew Zaharis performs trombone; Susan Robinson performs harp; and Oleg Rylatko and Zino Bogachek perform violin, Johanna Nowik performs viola, and Danielle Cho performs cello.
