Handle With Care

Handle With Care is a participatory theatre experience by Belgian collective Ontroerend Goed, presented as a box rather than a conventional staged production. Instead of actors, technicians, fixed scenes, or a traditional script, the box contains instructions, written material, questions, and objects that guide the audience through the performance. Each presentation is created in the moment and is intended to be unique and unrepeatable. Participation is strongly encouraged, but audience members may choose to observe without taking part.

Ontroerend Goed is known for self-devised theatre rooted in the present moment, with unpredictability in both content and form. For this production, the audience is given control of the experience and shares it collectively in the room.
