Bad Medicine

Bad Medicine brings its high-energy sketch comedy to the DC Improv main room for a one-night performance on Tuesday, September 15, at 7:30 PM. The show is described as “a monument to comedy,” a playful nod to Washington, D.C., and a brand-new hour of sketch material that takes aim at the people, institutions, and ideas that have grown larger than life. Political landmarks, crumbling infrastructure, cultural icons, and everyday institutions that refuse to disappear all come under fire, with humor that is equal parts dark, cerebral, and delightfully absurd.

Bad Medicine is a group of DC-based friends who perform regularly at the DC Improv and have also brought their act to comedy festivals including Toronto Sketchfest, SF Sketchfest, and Philly Sketchfest. In addition to performing, the troupe teaches sketch comedy. The show is staged in the main room of the club, and tickets are available with an all-in price that includes service charges.
