QuinTango - New Music Releases - Argentinean Jazz Series
QuinTango joins Argentine tango singer Mariana Quinteros for a performance drawn from *VIDA*, QuinTango’s forthcoming 2027 release. The program explores tango as a language for jealousy, intimacy, fear, exhilaration, and other personal experiences, pairing the group’s strings, piano, and bandoneon with Quinteros’s vocals.
A five-time WAMMIE-winning ensemble and the recipient of Washington, D.C.’s 2023 Best Latin Artist/Group award, QuinTango has performed at the White House, the Kennedy Center, embassies, jazz clubs, festivals, and concert venues across 29 states and three continents. Quinteros is an award-winning tango vocalist who performs between Miami and Buenos Aires and has appeared locally at the Embassy of Argentina, GALA Hispanic Theatre, and Lisner Auditorium. The concert is co-presented with the Embassy of Argentina.
