The Brother Bill Quintet
The Brother Bill Quintet brings a straight-ahead jazz performance rooted in the soulful, hard-swinging Blue Note sound of the late 1950s and 1960s. The evening features warm grooves, lyrical horn lines, deep-pocket rhythm, and the after-hours energy associated with that era, drawing inspiration from artists including Art Blakey, Horace Silver, Lee Morgan, and Hank Mobley.
The quintet is made up of area musicians and offers a lively night of live jazz at Hank Dietle’s Tavern. Guests are encouraged to bring friends, enjoy a drink, and settle in for an evening in the classic Blue Note tradition.
