Compagnie HERVÉ KOUBI

Compagnie HERVÉ KOUBI makes its Center for the Arts debut with *Sol Invictus*, a high-energy contemporary dance work led by Algerian choreographer Hervé Koubi. Drawing on Algerian and Mediterranean culture, the company blends contemporary and urban dance with capoeira and martial arts, creating powerful imagery and choreography that seems to defy gravity.

Named for the “invincible sun” deity, *Sol Invictus* is performed to music by Swedish composer Mikael Karlsson, with excerpts by Steve Reich and digital composer Maxime Bodson. The performance is suitable for all ages and will be audio described.

Tickets: $65, $55, or $45; prices include fees. Half-price tickets are available for youth through Grade 12.
