Latin Night feat. Verny Varela

Latin Night featuring Verny Varela transforms Bossa Bistro & Lounge into a vibrant dance destination every first Thursday of the month. Verny Varela, a Colombian arranger, composer, singer, and flutist, brings his extensive salsa and Latin music experience to the stage. Born in Cali and raised in the Barrio Obrero, he began performing with his father’s band El Nuevo Son and has since shared the stage with legendary figures such as Ismael Miranda, Adalberto Santiago, Pete “El Conde” Rodríguez, and members of the Fania All Stars. He also toured Europe and the U.S. with Tito Gomez as lead singer of the Gabino Pampini Band. Verny holds a bachelor’s degree in music from Universidad del Valle in Colombia and an M.A. in Afro Hispanic Studies from Howard University. His newest album, *Gracias*, includes the hit single “Fuiste Tu,” already popular in Cali.
