ASHLEY MONROE & CHARLIE WORSHAM

Ashley Monroe and Charlie Worsham perform together for one night at The Birchmere in Alexandria. Monroe brings nearly 25 years of acclaimed country songwriting, including her solo work and contributions to Pistol Annies, while Worsham presents music from his deeply personal album *Once Upon a Second Time Around*.

Monroe’s recent album, *Dear Nashville*, explores her complicated relationship with the city and the emotional demands of the country music industry. Written and produced with Luke Laird, the eight-song concept album reflects her characteristic honesty and marks a new chapter in her creative work. Worsham’s latest project draws on bluegrass, country, and rock influences, with songs shaped by marriage, fatherhood, friendship, gratitude, resilience, and personal growth. A singer-songwriter, producer, award-winning instrumentalist, podcast host, and collaborator, he is a two-time ACM Acoustic Guitar Player of the Year and the 2024 CMA Musician of the Year.
