Ashley Monroe and Charlie Worsham, two of Nashville’s most celebrated country artists, share the Birchmere stage for a single evening on Wednesday, November 4, 2026. The show is a rare joint headline date pairing Monroe, a Grammy-nominated solo artist and member of the Pistol Annies, with Worsham, a multi-award-winning singer-songwriter and guitarist. Both performers have deep roots in traditional country, bluegrass, and Southern rock, and both are in creatively rejuvenated periods, making this a highly personal and intimate evening of songwriting and musicianship.
Monroe brings a nearly 25-year career and a reputation as one of Nashville’s most influential voices. Her recent music, including the surprise-released album *Dear Nashville*, was written and produced with Luke Laird and takes a reflective look at her complicated relationship with the city that shaped her. The eight-song concept album addresses the tension between her love for country music and the emotional demands of the industry, delivered with the direct, unfiltered honesty that has defined her writing. Worsham, a Mississippi native raised on bluegrass, country, and rock and roll, has built a career as a singer, producer, instrumentalist, podcast host, and collaborator. His album *Once Upon a Second Time Around* reflects on the life he once dreamed of and now lives, drawing from marriage, fatherhood, friendship, and personal growth. Made after leaving the major-label system, the project favors creative freedom and honest performance over commercial trends, with songs that range from quiet acoustic moments to expansive bluegrass and southern rock arrangements. Worsham is a two-time ACM Acoustic Guitar Player of the Year and the 2024 CMA Musician of the Year.
