Rumba Queer: Vamo Pa' La Calle
Rumba Queer: Vamo Pa’ La Calle is an LGBTQ+-centered Latin dance party at Transmission, bringing three floors of salsa, bachata, merengue, reggaetón, Latin club, and more to the venue. The afternoon begins with beginner-friendly salsa and bachata classes, followed by several hours of dancing across the venue’s second floor, first floor, and rooftop.
The event is presented in English and Spanish and is intended for guests age 21 and older. No dance partner is required for the classes.
When: Saturday, September 26, 2026
Showtimes: 2–8 PM overall. Salsa and bachata classes run from 2–3 PM, followed by dancing from 3–8 PM.
Schedule: The second floor features salsa, bachata, and merengue from 3:30–8 PM. The first floor features intense perreo and reggaetón from 4–8 PM. The rooftop hosts Latin club from 4–8 PM.
Classes: Beginner-friendly salsa and bachata instruction with Andrew and Sabri, from 2–3 PM. No partner is needed.
