HANA STRETTON

Hana Stretton, a British/Australian composer, singer, and producer, presents music from her forthcoming album, *tiarn*. Her sound is known for warm production and spacious song structures. Her 2023 debut, *Soon*, was reissued in 2024 by Phil Elverum’s label, and *tiarn* moves from the Australian landscapes of that earlier record toward the Pacific Ocean, incorporating subtle classical and electronic elements. The album is scheduled for independent release in summer 2026, with vinyl editions planned through PW Elverum & Sun, brierfield flood press, and Lima Limo.

The evening also features Washington, DC-based sound artist and educator Heather Stebbins. An associate professor of electronic and computer music at George Washington University, Stebbins creates work using instruments, found objects, natural sounds, and voltage. Her output ranges from composed chamber music to improvised modular-synthesizer performances, and her recordings have appeared on labels including Outside Time, Zeromoon, SUPERPANG, and New Focus Recordings.
