Alfredo Mojica Group brings a high-energy Latin dance experience to Bossa Bistro & Lounge. Alfredo Mojica, a prominent figure in the DC salsa community, is a percussionist and vocalist from Central America who has performed with artists and groups including Celia Cruz, Eddie Palmieri, Willie Colón, Dizzy Gillespie, Buddy Rich, El Gran Combo, and Ray Barretto.

Mojica moves between timbales, congas, and bongos while singing salsa standards with an expressive, romantic style. He is accompanied by a lively rotating group of musicians, with music spanning salsa, bachata, merengue, and more. Dancing is encouraged.
