Honky Tonk Dance with Karen Collins & the Backroads Band

Spend an evening dancing to live country music with Karen Collins & the Backroads Band at Glen Echo Park. The group is known for an authentic vintage honky-tonk sound, with shuffles, two-steps, slow tunes, and early rockabilly influences.

Admission includes a beginner two-step lesson taught by Sharon Schiliro and Michael Hart of Dancing by the Bayou, followed by dancing with the band.

When: Friday, October 30, 2026

Schedule: Doors open at 7:00pm. The beginner two-step lesson runs from 7:30pm to 8:00pm, followed by dancing with Karen Collins & the Backroads Band from 8:00pm to 10:30pm.

Tickets: Discounted advance tickets are $22 and are available online only until 11:59pm on Thursday, October 29. Same-day tickets are $27 and may be purchased online or at the door with cash, check, or credit card.

Dual Dance Ticket: An advance dual-dance ticket costs $40 and includes this October 30 dance and the August 21, 2026 Honky Tonk Dance with Agalisiga Mackey. It is available online only. All sales are final.
