Five-time Grammy Award winner Angélique Kidjo, a global icon from Benin, West Africa, returns to the Center for the Arts for a dynamic live show shaped by four decades of music-making. Known as “Africa’s greatest living diva,” she blends West African traditions with R&B, funk, jazz, and Latin influences, creating a sound that is deeply rooted and internationally celebrated. With 18 albums and collaborations ranging from Peter Gabriel to Pharrell to Yo-Yo Ma, her artistry continues to inspire audiences worldwide, and she invites attendees to “bring your dancing shoes.”

When: Sunday, April 25, 2027 at 7 p.m.

Venue: George Mason University Center for the Arts, Concert Hall, Fairfax Campus

Tickets: $80, $65, and $50; half-price for youth through Grade 12. Prices include all fees. A limited quantity of free student tickets are available for Mason students two Tuesdays prior to the event.

Run time: Approximately 85 minutes.

Ages: This performance is appropriate for all ages.

Accessibility: The performance will be ASL interpreted.
