Lincoln’s Life, Death and Legacy Tours

Lincoln’s Life, Death and Legacy Tours is an exclusive full-day program examining Abraham Lincoln as both a person and president. The experience visits three sites central to his life, death, and lasting reputation in Washington, including the residence where he developed the Emancipation Proclamation, the theater where he was assassinated, and the memorial that shaped his place in the American imagination.

The program combines guided tours, a Ford’s Theatre Society-led visit to Ford’s Theatre Museum and Petersen House, and a special National Park Service presentation at the Lincoln Memorial. Lunch is scheduled near Ford’s Theatre, but participants must make and pay for their own lunch arrangements.

When: September 26, 2026; February 15, 2027; and April 18, 2027

Tickets: $75

Included: An exclusive conversational guided tour of President Lincoln’s Cottage; a guided visit to Ford’s Theatre Museum and Petersen House with a Ford’s Theatre Society educator; and a special presentation by the National Park Service at the Lincoln Memorial.

Lunch: Time is provided for lunch downtown near Ford’s Theatre. Attendees are responsible for arranging and paying for their own meal.
