Lincoln’s Life, Death and Legacy Tours is a full-day historical experience exploring Abraham Lincoln as both a person and president through three important Washington, DC locations. The journey visits President Lincoln’s Cottage, where he developed the Emancipation Proclamation; Ford’s Theatre and the Petersen House, associated with the final chapter of his life; and the Lincoln Memorial, where a National Park Service presentation examines the lasting legacy of his presidency.

The experience includes guided interpretation at each site, offering a connected perspective on Lincoln’s life, death, presidency, and place in the American imagination.

When: September 26, 2026. Additional tour dates are February 15, 2027, and April 18, 2027.

Schedule: This is a full-day program. Time is set aside for lunch downtown near Ford’s Theatre.

Tickets: $75.

Included: An exclusive conversational guided tour of President Lincoln’s Cottage; a visit to Ford’s Theatre, its museum, and the Petersen House led by a Ford’s Theatre Society educator; and a special presentation by the National Park Service at the Lincoln Memorial.

Lunch: Lunch is not included. Attendees are responsible for making their own arrangements and covering their own costs.

Locations: President Lincoln’s Cottage, Ford’s Theatre and the Petersen House, and the Lincoln Memorial.
